A nice dessert and peaceful beach is located just 400m from Aeolus private villas, 3km from the village center of Makrigialos and 29 km from Ierapetra. Lagada beach is very long about 1km, wide about 50m and consists of pebbles and sand. The clear crystal water allows everybody to enjoy swimming and diving and after it taking a sunbathing. The peaceful and nice area, the rugged scenery with cliffs give you an impression of indepedence and relaxation.

Lagada beach is free and you could enjoy the shadow under the trees. Sun beds and sun umbrellas are not provided. The sea is open to the winds and is considered a relatively good point for windsurfing, although the seabed is rocky in many places. From the beach you could see the uninhabited dessert island Koufonisi.

At the nearby area could be found a tavern and in Kalo Nero just 4km some more of them. It’s better to supply your own water and a snack, if you think to spend a long day.
